About Victoria Hall

Victoria Hall was built in 1888 as an annex to Hanley Town Hall, forming part of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee celebrations. Constructed in local red brick and terracotta in a classical style, the original venue held 2,800 people.

Following extensive renovation in the late 1990s, the Grade II listed building was transformed into a modern 1,467-seat concert hall with a magnificent glass-roofed atrium, while retaining its historic character. It has since established itself as one of the UK’s most popular touring venues for music and comedy.

Victoria Hall is managed by ATG (Ambassador Theatre Group) alongside the neighbouring Regent Theatre.
